The short answer is that it isn't even necessary to do workouts to lose weight if you use my weight loss program.
Here's the bottom line on workout plans to lose weight. Adding muscle is good becuase it will burn more calories, so a muscle buildiner routine is helpful. However a pure cardio style workout is more about health than losing weight, especially as you age.
I'm not saying workouts are a bad thing. I do it, I love it. Many of my clients do it. But you have to know it is NOT neccessary to lose weight. Focus on the goal and take the most efficient way there.
